AWS connectivity issues in the us-east-1 region.

There are problems on Amazon side in us-east region http://status.aws.amazon.com/. It is also affecting other clients and some of our servers. We have contacted Amazon about it and they said it is related to a problem with EBS volumes. They are currently working on a fix but they don't have an ETA about when it will be corrected.
